These days I'm watching Blood+, anime series. It started out as a potentially great setup for the action: high-school girl turns out to be demon-vampire hunter, then turns out to be one of them. In short, her blood kills the other weirdos, and what's more only she can kill them, bla,bla. There is also a twin evil sister that needs to be killed as a culmination of good triumphing over evil. However, all of this resulted in heaps of melodrama during season 1. Well, there were some fights, but really so much more of hesitation, doubt and regrets...phooey.
Season 2, on the other hand, delivers a lot more kick to the ass. Saya (that girl I mentioned) is now harder, better, faster, stronger. Less regretting, more slashing, some new supernaturals brought to the forefront, good stuff hehehe. So with 10 episodes to go I'm all excited about what's still to come:D
